NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR 2012 CRMA’S

Acclaimed as one of the highlights of Canadian Music Week, the 15th annual Canadian Radio Music Awards will take place March 23rd at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.

Recognizing the wealth of talent creating music in the Mainstream AC, Hot AC, CHR, Dance/Urban/Rhythmic, Rock and Country genres, the CRMA’s celebrate acts that, early in their careers, have made a substantial impact at radio.

While Frontside congratulates all the nominees for producing an amazing variety of music in 2011, we’re especially pleased to see nominations for Raghav, with “Fire” in the running for both the CHR and Hot AC categories, as well as JRDN, whose multi-format hit “Like Magic” is vying for the Fans’ Choice award.

SARA SLEAN ADDED AT CHFI

“Set It Free”, the first single from Sarah Slean’s new double album “Land And Sea” was added to the prestigious CHFI (FM98) Toronto playlist yesterday, to a very excited round of applause at the Frontside offices. What makes the add so special, aside from being the first (of many we hope) was that it not only came on the first day of summer, but also Sarah’s birthday!

Quite a nice present to get, indeed.
